Directions by Car from M4

• Leave motorway at M32, follow M32 to end - you will come to two sets of traffic lights in front of the new shopping centre development (currently a construction site!).
• Head straight on, bearing right down the side of the new development.
• Stay in middle lane to roundabout and take 2nd exit.
• Past bus station on left, BRI Hospital on the right.
• Continue uphill straight through traffic lights.
• Pass "Zero Degrees" restaurant and take the next right onto Woodland Road (opposite an Esso petrol station).
• The Merchant Venturers' Building is the modern, grey-roof building on the left, a short way up the hill. Metered parking is available on this road, or there is a large multi-storey carpark back on Park Row (the road from which you turned onto Woodland Road).

Directions by Car from M5 Southbound

• Leave M5 at Junction 17, down slip road to roundabout.
• Take 2nd exit signed for Bristol, Clifton & Bristol Zoo.
• Follow road for half a mile, over speed bumps and then another half mile to roundabout.
• Straight over, up hill, road bends to right, then back down hill and through 3 sets of traffic lights.
• Straight on up hill, at brow of hill BMW and Porsche Garage on left, bare right, follow road past Badminton Girls School, road straightens.
• Over roundabout, 1 mile, to another roundabout, straight over and down Whiteladies Road.
• Pass BBC on your left, through traffic lights.
• Come to a one-way system, keep in left hand lane.
• Past row of shops, straight on through a set of traffic lights.
• Pass the front of the Will's Memorial Building (which looks somewhat like a cathedral) and take the next left onto Woodland Road (opposite an Esso petrol station).

• Follow directions as above.
